The amount of ashes will not compromise the nutrient balance needed for plant growth. Over time, ashes mix with the soil, allowing seedlings to grow like regular plants.

The world’s first biodegradable tree urn, brought to Australia by Soul Trees in 2016 and known as Bios Urn, is an entirely environmentally friendly urn. The urn has no expiry date, so you can use it with either recent or old ashes whenever you are ready.
